I remember this song was the first time my long-time guitar partner Dylan Roberts really loved some guitar work that I had done, whereas up until now he did the guitar playing and I did the rest. It was a big accolade as far as I was concerned coz I had spent 3 or 4 years worshipping the way that boy made guitars sing, scream and dance. Also, it was on acoustic guitar which I remember being intimidated by, and the piece developed from nothing at all. I wasn't trying to write a song, it just evolved from recording one line and then adding another and before long I had a full length backing track in need of lyrics. Wierd what the mind unearths several years after recording these songs and hearing them again.

Why are you doing what you do, knowing what you know?
How is it good to see the ‘could be’?
Should we ever grow?
Do you understand what they’ve planned?

Pricks make decision round a boardroom
