The eNVy Project started in 2003ish when Dyl played a riff on our mate's guitar while we were in Cardiff, South Wales, and I said we should do something with it when he came up to North Wales. That catchy little riff became 'Candy' and gave us a song that enticed fellow musicians from school to want to get involved and take eNVy onto the stage.

'Revelations, Ch.1 and 2' are really just us messing about in my lounge, then various bedrooms wherever I had my computer set up, writing and recording when he came over to chill. The recording quality may not always be whatever you think of as great, but the passion is right there, baby - forcing as much into the headphone jack of my woefully underpowered home PC as it would take without blowing up!
For the first album we were surrounded by friends and smoke and tea and out-of-date snacks from the local shop, and then as people grew up and moved on, including Dyl, the songs became less frequent; as did the live shows. Not before we scorched a Battle Of The Bands though, and left an indelible stain on the underpants of various venues around the city of Bangor. And, memorably, an open mic night in Cardiff, when we only went in for a drink and they had an open slot so we borrowed a guitar and played an acoustic version of 'Candy', which halfway through included percussion from a tramp wielding a conga who accepted my invitation to get involved. Random but very cool.
They're eclectic but fun, this second little bunch of tunes and remixes, including three secret bonus tracks of which two are VERY silly ditties we recorded during down-time from creating the 'proper' songs. I hope you enjoy them all as much as we enjoyed living them.

Peace, and thanks for listening.

The honour of creating a soundtrack to moment or memory is one I hope to achieve with you somewhere here in these 13 albums. I've enjoyed living all of them. I hope you will as well. Much love.
