The eNVy Project began in Cardiff with Dylan Roberts playing a catchy little riff on a mate's guitar, and Tim J Rowe saying they should do something with it when Dyl came back up to North Wales from university. They did, that song became 'Candy', and the rest is slightly rock and roll...

Welcome to my collaboration with guitar-wielding maniac Dylan Roberts, which we titled 'eNVy' because the middle letters pronounce the entire word. Cheaper to print on a bass drum skin, and easy to relay somewhere noisy when several White Russian cocktails are telling something with legs and a boob-tube that "WE'RE IN A BAND" and "WE'RE GONNA BE HUUUUUGE!". Oh dear.
'The' and 'Project' came soon after because we are very cool people.

Some very talented music friends were infected enough by 'Candy' to offer up their services as a backing band, and eNVy went live, baby!! After shoving a colonic up a local Battle Of The Bands competition and leaving an indelible stain on the ears, hearts, minds and underpants of various North Wales venues over the next year, the boys became too busy to play gigs, girls and friends and girlfriends and wives came and went, we got drunk once too often (Dyl lost some teeth, I lost pride and a shirt); and the eNVy train rumbled gently to a desolate halt in the final rock-track station of Neglectville. We had some damn good times driving it there though!!

Enjoy the first half of the story here in Revelations,Ch. 1, taking you chronologically song by song through '04 into '05. I hope you enjoy the journey as much as we didn't know we did.
